A Winter Expedition to Snowdonia in North Wales has been arranged for the long weekend of 16th - 20th February 2001.
We will be camping (YES in tents !) at Nant Peris, which is close to the base of Snowdon.
The weekend will consist of a mixture of medium level and high level walking days, with the climax hopefully being to reach the summit of Snowdon (weather permitting).
We expect to encounter small patches of snow and ice during the walks at high level but they will be easilly crossed !!!
The cost of this expedition will be £50.00 per person, this will include transport, food and campsite fees.
